September 2025 Roundup: Scoring and Messaging Refinements
September was about tightening the screws. We'd built a lot. Now it was time to make it actually feel polished. No big splashy launches — just a bunch of fixes that add up to a way better experience.
Handicap factor for individual ball
Individual ball events now use your handicap the right way. The math lines up with how it's supposed to work in stroke play. No more guesswork. Your scoreboard stays clean and accurate.
Messaging that actually works
We rebuilt how messaging works so it feels smooth and reliable. Threads load faster. The layout behaves properly on different screen sizes. Small tweaks, but they add up when you're firing off messages between holes.
iOS chat finally fixed
The keyboard was hiding the text field on iPhone. Super annoying. We chased it down and fixed it. The chat experience on iOS is solid now — your input stays where it should when you're typing.
Sandbagger and TrueScore accuracy
Charts and tables line up correctly now. The tournament scoreboard shows all scores instead of cutting off. We also squashed a Presidents Cup bug where starting strokes were throwing off the numbers. Everything's more accurate.
App refresh handling
When you're on an older build, you get a cleaner prompt to update. Nothing flashy — just one less friction point when you're trying to use the app.
The bottom line
September was about making what we built actually feel polished. We talk trash and ship features. But we also care about the details. This was the month we proved it.
