Badges and Achievements: Earn Your Bragging Rights

We used to have round stories — little cards that highlighted moments from your rounds. They were fun, but they didn't go far enough. We wanted something that recognized your achievements, rewarded consistency, and gave you a place to show off what you've done.

So we rebuilt it from the ground up. Meet Badges.

Badges are achievements you unlock for everything from eagles to birdie streaks. They're organized into categories, each with a distinct shape so you can tell them apart at a glance. There are 25+ GHIN-connected badges that detect achievements automatically from your linked scoring history. Post a round, and we'll check if you've earned something new.

Tiered badges — bronze, silver, gold — reward increasing levels of achievement. Make one eagle? Bronze. Make five? Silver. Make ten? Gold. The more you accomplish, the higher you climb.

Fire points are earned alongside badges and displayed on your profile. They're a quick way to see how active and accomplished you are. More badges, more fire.

Your profile now has a Trophy Case section. That's where your badge collection lives. Scroll through and see everything you've unlocked. It's your bragging rights, front and center.

Badges also appear in the feed under "Your Network." When you earn something new, your friends can see it. No need to announce it yourself. The badge does the talking.

This was a complete ground-up rebuild from the earlier round story cards. We kept the spirit of celebrating your moments and expanded it into a full achievement system. Unlock badges, earn fire points, and fill your trophy case.
